Marlana Dunn grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Having all brothers in her household, her childhood revolved around sports.  She played softball and took gymnastics (which was considered a sport to the boys).   However, aside from the tomboy in her, Marlana loved to sing.  When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, Marlana always answered, “I want to be Reba McEntire”.

As a freshman in high school, Marlana did her first musical; thus, started her transition away from playing sports and into singing and dancing.  She took her first dance class at the age of sixteen when she was able to drive herself to the studio.  She soon learned that the stance of a ballerina was different than that of a gymnast or a catcher blocking home plate!  Her love for dance began in that moment.

Marlana competed in the Miss America Pageant System earning scholarship money toward her college education.  She attended Point Park University where she received a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and minor in Jazz Dance.  Following her education she traveled the world with Stiletto Entertainment on Holland America Cruise Lines as their lead singer/dancer.

After being on the road for two and a half years with the Broadway National Tour, Jersey Boys (Mary Delgado & others), Marlana is thrilled to call Los Angeles her home.  She is a professional singer/dancer/actor and has her own one-woman Patsy Cline Tribute show.  She loves sharing her passion for the arts with younger generations.  She is a Fitness enthusiast: Crossfit Level 1 Training Certified, yogi, and gym junkie! One must know that her love for sports still burns inside her.  Alas, the Steelers will always be number one!
